Solar System Cache - Mars
This site is the 4th in a series of geocaches hidden around Fredericton. This one will mark the Annual meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada which will meet in Fredericton for the first time in 2010. Each cache will represent a planet, and will contain a brief description of the planet at the correct scale distance from the Sun. Start your journey among the planets by visiting City Hall and looking at the circle of water (in the summer) around the fountain.(N 45° 57.790' W 66° 38.598') Now imagine that our Sun was this big and Mars was a little smaller than a golf ball orbiting about 900 meters away. It was moved from the original position due to constant attacks from Little Green Men (LGM) . The complete series can be found at:
