Aptly called..."The Golden Road"... it forms a margin for SO MANY "Postcard Views" !
Seeking this plastic container allows one to view
"The Mountain" as Henry David Thoreau did .... when this
"Hermit of Walden Pond" ventured North. Take a trinket...
sign the log.... check for Moose in every bog !
"Keep it BEAUTIFUL".... <>

Followed the "geo-trail" right to the cache. Emptied out the food and trash. Took the batteries and left a $1US coin. Nice spot for a cache. Enjoyed the Maine woods today. peace out!

We went out on the Golden Road to see a moose and passed this cache, too. Katahdin was covered in clouds today, but when we were up there we were able to see this spot .
We found the cache at once at 9.30 a.m. and also a moose later on.
Thank you for the cache.

My kids and I were on our way down the Golden Road to Chamberlain lake which was our kick-off point for our Allagash trip together. We were all anxious to get on the lake but they put up with me and allowed me to find a couple of caches along the way. What a special place northern Maine is. We paddled the ~90 miles to Allagash Village spending lots of family time together. I love to get away like this with my children as it give me a chance to get to know them and to appreciate just what fine people they have turned out to be - much of the credit of course goes to mom, but society and me are the recipients. Thanks for a very nice cache with wonderful views. TNLN.
