Een leuke wandeling door een prachtig gebied, aan het eind kan je wat eten of drinken op het terras onder de grote lindebomen. Parkeerplaats op N 44.55.126 E 001.16.647.

In het schitterende Dordogne-gebied ligt op wandelafstand van Domaine des Mathevies een geheim verstopt dat voor weinigen geopenbaard zal worden.....
De boerderij vlakbij de parkeerplaats is gebouwd in het jaar 1900 met stenen uit de directe omgeving. Als bindmiddel werd vloeibaar gemaakt zand gebruikt. Hier vestigde zich een kleine boer, boven op de berg was de grond minder vruchtbaar dan onder in het dal, daar woonden dus ook de grotere en rijkere boeren.
Rechts naast de voordeur ziet u 2 ronde gaten. De onderste is de afvoer van de wasbak die vroeger binnen werd gebruikt, de zogenaamde "evier". De originele evier van deze boederij staat nog steeds in de voortuin richting de parkeerplaats. Het bovenste gat werd gebruikt als verlichting op de werkplek. Het arbeidershuisje dat naast de boerderij staat werd gebruikt in de drukke tijd.
Rechts naast het arbeidershuisje is een broodoven; elke dag vers brood voor de arbeider en de boerenfamilie. In de grote schuur staat nog altijd het originele wijnvat, deze werd reeds bij de bouw in de schuur gezet!
Inhoud van de stash; tennisbal, speelgoedautootje, winkelwagenmuntje, megamon-chap, sleutelhanger, muntje Zaanse schans in Holland, folders Domaine des Mathevies en natuurlijk een logboek met een pen en twee potloodjes.

The farm near the parking-place is build in 1900 for a little and poor farmer, on the hills were the grounds cheaper and less good then in the valley, overthere lived the rich farmers.
Right of the frontdoor you see two round holes. The lowest was for the transport of the wasted water from the washing-up inside the farm, the so called "Evier". The original evier of this farm is still now in the garden in the direction of the parkingplace. The hole above the little one was for light on the workplace. The little house near the farm was for the workman when there was seasonswork to do, in busy times. Right from the "workmanshouse" is the oven to make bread, in the great shed there is still the "winebarrel" (do you call it like this??), when they build the shed the winebarrel was already inside.
The stash contains; tennisbal, toy-car, coin for a shoppingcar, megamon-chap, keyholder, coin Zaanse schans in Holland, prospect Domaine des Mathevies en off course a logbook with some pencils.
