Geocaching Travel Bug Workshop 
We're going outdoors for this
one!
Bel Air Park
Pot luck, meet and greet, HAVE FUN talking
about caching. Please bring only sodas and snacks. I will list what
items each cacher will be bringing to the event so that we don't
duplicate any items. Please email me @ jlofnm@msn.com with what you
want to bring for the pot luck.
The event will be from 1:00pm thru 5:00 pm. It will take place
at Bel Air Park with plenty of tables, bring your own chair(s)for
more comfort. I think the weather will be nice enough to have it
outdoors, not to mention we are all outdoorsie people :)
This is how the Workshop will
work:
Travel Bugs will be sold to cachers who want
to participate. You can purchase as many TB tags as you like. I
must know how many tags you want and I must receive the money in
advance (May 6th) since I will be buying them from Groundspeak in
advance of the event. Each TB tag will be the normal Groundspeak
cost for a TB tag. YOU DO NOT HAVE
TO PURCHASE ANY TB TAGS TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.
You will receive your TB tags at the event. I
will be bringing approximatelly 35 "hitchhikers" to chose from to
the event. If you want to bring your own "hitchhiker" you can. If
you would like to donate some hitchhikers for others to use, please
let me know. We will have tools and such that everyone can use to
build their TB at the event.
You will chose the mission of your
TB
You will chose where you want to release
your own TBs.
All TBs will have an "event" tag to add to their TB.
This will be a great event for kids.
There will be unpublished caches that will be handed out during
the event. If you want to hide an event cache, please email me.
