You are looking for a camoed peanut butter jar hidden .25 miles
south of the now defunct Sandberg's Summit Hotel on the Old Ridge
Route. The name Sandberg is still used by the National Weather
Service for an automated weather station NW of the cache site at N
34° 44.675 W 118° 43.689.
The cache site affords an awesome view of Bald Mountain, the
wooded canyon below, and areas further west and south. There is a
pull out right next to the cache where you can park.

I'm sure glad we were not dressed to look like bears today. There must have been a couple dozen hunters in groups of 2-5. Neat cache spot.

lots of hunters walking and driving along in cammo today (not us) looking for a bear, and there were looking at us like we were crazy! TFTH!
