GEOCACHERS ASSEMBLLLE at this official World Wide Flash Mob XI event Saturday, June 7, 2014 at exactly 12 P.M. CST on Biloxi Beach!
Last year, 42 countries participated with 558 WWFM X events attended by 25,125 people! Can we top that?! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
This year, we're hosting a water balloon mob! Special thanks to Ian's Dad for the suggestion :] Here's how it'll work:
Schedule
11:50am - All participants should be parked in the area by this time since it can get crowded on the weekends. Please hang out inconspicuously and ignore each other until the event starts; remember, the idea is to create a sudden and seemingly random flash mob in public, not to look like a group before the event. Also make sure your water balloons are ready to deploy and anything you don't want to get wet is left in your vehicle.
12pm sharp - All participants should be at the lighthouse with their home-made "ammo" to wage watery war! When you hear me shout "TO BATTLE" (check LestISmiteThee's profile to see what we look like), shout it back so we know who's participating and who's a muggle. There most likely won't be anyone else around the lighthouse, but we definitely don't want civilian casualties XD
12:05pm - After battling each other for life and death--er, I mean, for fun, follow me back to the parking lot to sign the log, take a group photo, and chat :D Whoever's the least wet can have fake FTF!
12:15pm - We survived! Hopefully all of us anyway. And disperse to tell others the epic battle that was WWFM XI!
Our group photo will be submitted to the Official World-Wide Flash Mob Geocaching Event Website [here's mine from WWFM X (South Korea)]. Feel free to wear official or custom-made Geocaching clothes, crazy costumes, or print out the Geocaching logo for the photo.
And don't be late -- we'll only be there for 15 minutes!
Also make sure your log is dated for June 7 and submitted within one week of this event or you won't get the souvenir.
