Contack Puzzle Final: Putting it all Together Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

ohjoy!: It seemed a bit selfish to keep this spot for my series final when very few people actually went to find it. I am archiving it and hope that many of you will go and find the new earthcache, Water is Mightier than Water, which has been approved. (GC17P7Q)

Enjoy your walk to the new earthcache. It's an incredibly beautiful place.

Geocache Description:

This is the puzzle cache that you will find by using the 6 puzzle pieces located in the series of six Contack Puzzle Piece caches. Please read the instructions carefully. I have rated this with a difficulty of 2 because of the need to collect puzzle pieces and assemble them. The actual cache would be rated a 1 difficulty.

**FTF prize is either the Yellow Jeep TB or a 5X7 professional quality Orca photograph. STF gets the remaining item.

**PLEASE TRADE UP OR EQUAL - after the work it takes to locate this cache, it will be nice for future cachers to find nice trade items. THANKS**

You copied the six puzzle pieces found in the six Contack Puzzle Piece caches. On each of them you wrote a number in answer to a question found in the cache. It is your task to put the pieces together correctly to find the last 3 numbers of both North and West coordinates for the final cache.

The final will be: N 47° 01.??? W 122° 54.???

Here’s how you put them together:

1. Arrange the pieces in a rectangular block that is 3 pieces across and 2 pieces high. The top three numbers are the final three numbers for the North coordinates; the bottom three are for the West coordinates.

2. The numbers on the sides of puzzle pieces that touch other pieces must match on each side that abuts another. Corner pieces only need to match on two sides, while center pieces will have to match on 3 sides. There will be 4 corner pieces and 2 center pieces. (Yes, some of your numbers may be upside down or sideways depending on which direction you chose to write them.)

3. Once the six pieces are properly arranged, you will find a second possibility for the coordinates by turning the block upside down.

4. It’s up to you to decide which of the two possibilities is the one you want to explore first.

If you solve the puzzle and are unable to find the cache, log a DNF and write to me for confirmation of the coordinates you tried.

Satellite reception was poor each of the times I visited this site. You would be wise to use the hint.
