Cache visits two of the cabins in Jones Park
Parking is at the gate to the high road or, if the gate is open you might drive to the top of the high road and park there. You can take trail 667 or the Seven Bridges Trail. There are several caches in the vicinity.

Posted coordinates take you to a small can hidden near the first cabin. Find coordinates inside it which will take you past cabin #2 and on to cabin #3 not far away. That container is a decon container with room for just a few tiny items.

Thanks to Jan Kroboth and Bill Bartlow for joining the expedition to Jones Park.

Stopped by while checking out the cabins. Jones Park is beautiful with the aspens nearing their peak.

I made a little side trip for this while out hiking today with Tito and kwbforest. I replaced the container with a decon containing only the original log. I don't know if that is the best location since something likes to munch on caches, but it should last a bit longer.

The cache container has been demolished. I rescued the log book with a fresh zip-lock but this is only a temporary solution.

Dianne, Sport, Scout and I (the entire Stiller team) hiked here today. We all really enjoyed visiting this interesting location. Unfortunately the second/final stage has been demolished. The plastic container has apparently been eaten by something (I wonder if there was some food smell on it). The notebook was chewed but is mostly intact. I dumped out my first aid kit and use the zip-lock from that for the note book and then took the old (badly torn) zip-lock and used it as an outer cover. The cache should be good for a while longer but badly needs to be replaced.

Since this is a remote location, it's likely to take the CO a while to make it out here with a new container.

WOULD THE NEXT FINDER BRING ALONG A CONTAINER FOR A SMALL NOTEBOOK? I'd hate to see a wonderful cache like this get ruined.
