No doubt you remember where you were on 9/11. Feel free to share your story in your log.
The coordinates for Stage I will take you to a unique sculpture at the Memorial Classroom at North Farmington High School. This area has been confirmed to be open to the public, and permission has been granted for placing Stage I of this cache here. Although you are allowed to visit this area at any time, you will want to avoid 7:00-7:30 am and 2:30-3:00 pm on school days due to heavy traffic.
This memorial sculpture was designed and built by students and staff of the NFHS art department. The sculpture is the centerpiece of the outdoor classroom which is meant to be a place of reflection and thoughtfulness. It incorporates a portion of an I beam that was salvaged from the World Trade Center after 9/11.
For a news article on the Memorial Classroom dedication, see the "Related Web Page" link above.
