This event will take place at the Science Museum, Wroughton, Swindon and everyone is welcome. There is a map in the link at the top of this page. This website also contains details of the Museum's collection.
This event starts at 10am on Sunday, 26th August 2007 at the Science Museum, Swindon and everyone is welcome. There will be a new permanent cache to seek out which will be just outside the Museum.
The event will be held inside one of the display hangers - go to the posted coordinates, turn left then right. There will be a Geocaching stand for the "Festival of The Future" show (free), people can meet and chat here.
The Museum itself is a fascinating place, consisting of the larger exhibits such as aircraft and vehicles of all sizes. There will be many other activities and displays at the Festival.
If anyone is willing to help for part of the day, either on the stand or by helping demo caching to visitors then please post on this cache page. However, all are welcome even if you can't help out and there are many other excellent caches in the area.
A new WiMax service is about to be installed on site. If ready, this will provide free internet access for anyone equipped with WiFi.
Camping facilities are available by prior booking on the night of Saturday 25th August (free, the facilities consist of a field and toilets). Let me have your details and I'll pass them onto the relevant person at the Science Museum.
Dogs are permitted on a lead outside the buildings, please remove deposits!
Please note that there will be a small charge for parking on site (this covers their costs) but you can park outside and walk in free if you wish.
