Geocache Description:

Cross the creek when the water is low, then take the left trail uphill past the second clearing.

This is Hot Wheels cache version 2, which is a substantial upgrade from the original. It is a big ammo box filled with several dozen hot wheels, matchbox, and die cast vehicles.

The original version was a rubbermaid container and was created by Cub Scouts in Den 1 Pack 281. It was found full of water in the spring of 2006, with the log completely soaked, so it was retired.

You pass 2 large clearings that may have once been homesites. No structures are left, just a large agave plant.

There is only one safe parking place at the trailhead. Please don't block the gate.
