BINY In My Life - Amanda Kay Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

seekhim17: Sadly, I must close this cache. I went to rescue this large cache container on Friday and found a barbed wire fence has been erected which is clearly meant to keep people out of the cache area. There is also the possibility that there is a bull equal in size to the cow patties I saw. I would not want to meet him! Stage 1 was gone, anyway. Amanda's Kay is officially looking for a new home.

Geocache Description:

Found this newly-built park with beautiful wooded area behind it while out with my wife. Knew it was a beautiful and peaceful spot for a multicache (at least until the construction gets out to this area, too). After first clue, two micros and then a large cache.

BINY In My Life – Amanda Kay is the sixth cache in the BINY In My Life series. BINY stands for Because I Need You, thus, the caches in this series are for people I need, and am thankful for in my life. Each cache will carry the name BINY (pronounced ben-ee) In My Life followed by the first and middle name of the person.

Amanda Kay is known as GeoPunkin at geocaching.com. Her birthday is not until December (12/30/98) but when I found this cache location, I knew I couldn't wait until December for a hide. This cache is my favorite of all I have hidden up to this point (I LOVE multi's, in the woods where a lot of bushwhacking is not required...I LOVE the area where this cache is hidden), so it only seemed appropriate that I dedicate this one to my favorite geocaching partner.

Amanda, when we found out Mommy was pregnant we only asked for a healthy child, but the Lord knew Daddy's heart was for a little girl...and he gave me you. I love being your Daddy and I love our Daddy/daughter times like when we go geocaching together, wrestle on the bed, play with the pet turtles, go for bike rides and goof around at the park.

I am very proud of you, too. I am proud of your hard work in first grade and what an improvement you made. I am proud of you when you love people...even the ones others are not always so nice to. And I am proud of the way you are respectful to adults. Treating people with respect will serve you well in life.

There is just one problem area we need to work on right now, and this is the fact that you are growing up WAY TOO FAST. Daddy is very proud of you and knows you are going to be a fine young lady one day, but I'm not ready to see my little girl grow up! I know our relationship will change and mature through the years, but I want you to know I am treasuring every minute I have with you now.

So Punkin, this cache is dedicated to you. I want everybody to know how much I love you, how proud I am of you, how thankful I am to be your Daddy...and how much I enjoy geocaching with you!

Final stage is a large cache container. For FTF (if they can use it), I have placed a fully legal, original MapSend Topo 3D program. They sent me the wrong one for my GPSr, so FTF, or whoever else if FTF can't use it, is welcome to it. It is for Meridian and Sports Track GPSr's. First sheet of log describes how to get it out of cache container. Please, no need to destroy container to get CDs (3 of them) out. Please remove log page if you take the software. Cache is FULL of card games, stuffed animals, small and regular decks of cards, pencils, etc.

When walking around the pond/lake, I was not able to make it around without stepping in some ankle deep puddles. You will not have to wade, but don't wear good shoes. UPDATE: You might want to look at the cache site via Googe Map or Google Earth if you don't want to get the shoes wet. It is possible to go around, but having a plan helps!
