Geocache Description:

Midfield of Sahuarita Bombing & Gunnery Range Airfield

Currently a road that leads to Sahuarita Park, this was a airfield, then an emergency landing strip. It's quiet enough, I know I'd pick this spot to put it down, if I couldn't make it back to KTUS.

• "Parking" near the cache
• BYOP Log Only
• Please rehide as found
• As always, watch out for the standard desert critters and hazards
• No need to turn any rocks

Don't park in the middle of the road, never know when a local student pilot might be practicing an emergency landing, or forgot to check the fuel, and really needs a place to set her down!

Dedicated to Team Gadsden's Flight Plan (GC13PNN) marking the end of the runway.

Congradulations to PoeHunters for FTF on a scorcher of a day!
