Geocache Description:

An Access Stewardship Permit is necessary to park here. From December through March there are hunters lurking in the bushes. The rest of the year there is low traffic.

This area is heaven for Labrador Retrievers. That means it is not always favorable to the hiker. I parked at N 48.19.509 W 122.22.687. From the parking lot it is 1.5 miles one way to the cache. The first mile is easy. The next half-mile can get tricky. I hid the cache when it was near high tide. Although the hike can be done at high tide I strongly recommend that you do it at low tide. You can also access this cache from the water, but since I was on land I do not have any advice for you if you take the water route.

The cache site provides you with an opportunity to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Skagit Delta. This is a very peaceful area and there is much wildlife around. Sit and enjoy.
