This is a very pleasant Nature and Fitness Trail that connects with the River Trail along the Saco River.
The trailhead starts from the public parking lot behind the Eastern Slopes Playhouse in North Conway. To reach the parking lot turn left at the light on Rt 16 in front of the Playhouse. Go under the railroad bridge and make a left into the parking lot. You will see a trail sign off to the right. Park there. A short distance down the trail you have a 100% chance of seeing a moose on the left! Continue past the moose and over the bridge to the winter friendly cache. There are excellent vistas here and this is a good bird watching spot in Spring. Continue past the cache until you meet the River Trail at the Saco River to make a longer, very pleasant walk. The exercise stations are new and very lightly used. This is a good safe place for kids. You also will pass beside the North Conway Golf Course. Please do not go out on the fairways. It is private property.
There is a FTF Geocoin plus some Travel Bugs and other swag in the cache which is a medium sized lock and lock.
