Geocache Description:

The first NIGHTTIME-ONLY cache in SC! Hartsville SC -- coordinates lead to a small sculpture garden in a well-lit urban area.

UPDATED 07/18/2022: Look for some art from familiar sources. Ample parking is close. This micro is offset, and the Spider's Eye guards its true location. Do not dig, lift or move anything. Please don't post or message anything about the cache not being at the coordinates. It isn't. It's offset. The description here is deliberately vague, to make it a little challenging, and from the turnout on opening night, I'd say that what I've given is sufficient. Suggested ratings were 3/2, but I thought those were too high. BYO pen.

As noted above, this is a night-time cache. Of course, it's there during the day, but the secret only reveals itself at night. The Spider's Eye can only be seen after dark. The coordinates take you to the middle of the park; you have to figure it out from there. The cache is within the boundaries of the property, but not in the middle of the park. Move around just a few feet and maybe the Spider's Eye will appear. Since the placement of this cache, there has been one unrelated incident that I have heard about, in which vandals caused significant damage to the baby statue, which held sentimental value to the the community. After that happened, cameras were installed, so be mindful and respectful. NO EXHIBITS NEED TO BE MOVED OR TAMPERED WITH.

UPDATED 07/18/2022: The prop went bad and had to be replaced. It's been overdue for a while because I didn't keep up with my business. However, there are now double props. One directly guards the cache location, as always, and the other one is about 12' away. This way, as the environment changes and something maybe gets obscured, at least one should be apparent until I can get there to repair it. A new log goes out tomorrow.

Happy hunting!
