This cache is hanging around a spot on segment 1 of the Colorado Trail. This is number 8 (of 8) in the Hanging Around series and is by far the hardest one to get to. But if you want the whole set, you have to get this one.
Parking for this one is at the Colorado Trail trailhead down by the South Fork of the South Platte River. I used a bike to get to the cache location from there. It's uphill all the way but of course you get to ride back down afterwards.
It's about 100 feet from the trail downhill. If you choose the right path, no rock climbing is required.
Please remember to place the log in the lid first. It will make it easier for the next cacher.
