This cache was placed for the CVG 4x4 Adventure Event. Ok. Simply put, there is an easy and a hard way to get this cache.
The easy way is to walk up the hill.
The hard way is to drive up, if you can. And if you can, please make sure you get it on video and post it here.
BUT PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT IT THIS WAY IF YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN OR AN INEXPERIENCED 4x4 DRIVER.
The easy way is a terrain of 4.5 Andrew says, and the hard way is 5.
The easy way is about a 50m walk, but Andrew says it feels like a 100m walk. You will see why when you get here.
You will need a HIGH CLEARANCE 4x4 ONLY if attempting the hard way. You will also need to take with you a WINCH, AIR LOCKERS, TRAILER on a SALVAGE VEHICLE etc. Says Andrew...lol.
There was no way we were going to attempt it and Pat has a 4" Lift Kit under her.
There is parking at the top for maybe 2 vehicles.
Getting the base of the hill is no problem for a normal 4x4.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THE WET.
If you would like to do this series of caches one weekend, we are more than happy to come out with you, all you have to do is ask and bring lots of white chocolate... :P
