EPIC 2 - Serenity Traditional Cache

This is the second cache of the EPIC series, challenging caches for which you really need to sharpen your outdoorsman (or outdoorswoman) skills. There are moderate and very challenging approaches to these caches which can dramatically alter the terrain ratings.
The “EPIC” name comes from the fact that if you plan for a day to get all the caches in the series, you are in for a very challenging hike. There is legal parking in a lot by Briansnat’s “The Roar” [GCKN1D]. From there, you will either follow a winding trail system that adds distance to your hike or will enjoy a lot of steep drops and climbs requiring very strenuous, physical efforts to progress to the cache site.
The "Serenity" part of the name comes from the fact that once you reach the cache spot, all the trials and tribulations to get here suddenly become worthwhile. You can see for miles with hawks and eagles sailing along the currents caused by the massive ridge you are standing on. It is great.

The cache is a large 50 cal. ammo can. It contains a logbook and the usual trinkets. It is well concealed. When you replace it, please take the time to hide it as well as you found it (thanks).
