This cache is inspired by Shakespeare's history King Henry
IV, Part I. I placed two caches between three other caches
in the area to bring you to some other parts of this great trail
system. I really fell in love with this trail system and thought it
was a shame that the original caches in the area didn't expose more
of the area.
A synopsis of the play as well as the full text can be found
here.
He will give the devil his
due.
(Act I, Scene II)
Like all my other Shakespeare caches, you do not have to readthe
play to find the cache.
The Area
Wasserman Park is the premier park in Merrimack. It has halls
with overnight accommodations available for rental. It has ball
fields, tennis courts, volleyball, picnic areas, swimming, and of
course, some really wonderful hiking trails.
The Cache
The cache container is the largest Lock & Lock that I've
come across. Although not huge, it should be big enough to hold
some fairly good sized travel bugs and swag. There is about a
300' bushwhack to the cache.
Please Note
- The area is open from 9 AM to 1/2 hour after sunset.
- Parking is allowed at the top of the hill in the lots
only.
- The park road is not open to the public.
- You do not have to move any stones to find the
cache!
