Parking is available in Saffins Rock Rill area. Continue down the dirt road past the pond and park at the trail heads. You can also park at the end of Tecumseh Ridge Rd in lake Shawnee, it's off East Shawnee Tr. Woods roads, bushwhacking and a stream crossing depending upon your approach.
Adit: A horizontal tunel/mine. With that being said, if you use the saffins approach on the woods road you will travel through the Weldon mine area. Start your bushwhack a little bit before 90 degrees off the woods road to avoide a test mine, which is just up hill about 230 feet from the cache. Worth checking out! There are two things you need for this Decon container cache.
1. Flashlight that works.
2. Footgear to walk through water a couple of inches to over a foot deep depending upon ground water table. Most of the time its low. (An extra pair is recomended)ie...Sandles
