This is a multi-stage cache located on a nice foot/bike path (dog friendly) along a creek. NOTE: The cache was moved and the coordinates for stage 4 updated due to suspected tampering - 8/16/05 And again on 2/22/07
Travel Bugs Rock is a cache where travel bugs can get together to party while they wait for help moving toward their goals. There are also some normal trading items in this ammo box. Each of the first 3 stages is an interesting arrangement of large rocks.
Parking can be a problem as the nearby Stanford East development is by permit only (thanks NavySparksandtheMrs). Some suggested parking: There are a few unrestricted spots at the trail head along the eastern most entry to Oak Creek Appartments (just west of Pasteur Dr.); Pasteur Dr. (the Sand Hill end is usually available); at the Menlo Park side of the nearby bike bridge; or at Oak Creek apartments in a "guest" slot - you are a guest aren't you? Then again you could always come on your bike; it's a great ride although some of the path is thick with bark and requires a low gear.

Stage 2: is at N 37° 26.AB8 W 122° 10.982 Let CD equal the number of rocks seen here plus 28.
Stage 3: is at N 37° 26.CD6 W 122° 10.924 Let EF equal the number of rocks seen here plus 4
