A Pocket Park micro on Capital Hill
Tashkent Park is another of those itty bitty parks that dot
Seattle. It’s a neat area but there can be homeless folks around
this time of year so a bit of stealth may be required. There is
Seattle history here though. Just to the west are three
condominiums. Nothing special about that except that these were the
first condos in Seattle. In fact the Highlander was the FIRST
condominium in town. When I was told there was a condominium on
Capital Hill back in the late 60s, a place to live was not what
came to mind!
