Geocache Description:

In memory of a cache we never found, "One Hour Parking," look here for more info: (GCHPYF). We are starting with "15 Minute Parking," as it may only be a quarter as good as the original. We will see. Hopefully this one will challenge you to put down the evil & addictive GPS and use your Geosense...........

Well, here is what people are saying about this cache.

"Found it! I wouldn't change a thing, or even give a hint. Its a nice challenge."--NVGreenGecko

"LOVED the cache. Max liked the park too! The bark chips had great smells to keep him busy while I sat and 'pondered'.""It is truly a tribute to the archived 'One Hour Parking'."--LaughingGravy

"We'll be back."--Geo-Jeeper

"Still drawing a blank"--TeamAlamo

"Let's just say the red herring is garnished with zingers and you're gonna have to admire the scenery awhile to find this one."--6079smithw

"This was starting to give me a complex, but now that I see the #1 cacher on the face of the earth missed it too, I don't feel so bad. Still, I'll be back."--team_goobie

Cache is a micro in a great little park. The views from here include Reno High, the Federal Courthouse and the Sierras to the West, the Truckee River to the North, an old stone mansion immediately to the South, and one of Reno PD's favorite speed enforcement areas immediately Southeast, on California Ave.

Just prior to placing the cache, as I got out of my truck, I was greeted by The Waver (Ed Carlson) who has been waving to, and greeting drivers of Northern Nevada since I was a kid, and happens to be a Reno icon. I think that this was a sign and the the cache will be protected from muggles and harm for years to come. You can read more about Ed here if you don't know who he is: (visit link)

Evenings are nice at this location, as the sunsets can be
breathtaking. Take someone special to enjoy them together.

Oh, yeah, a little about the cache itself. It is a micro with pretty decent camo, but it is not a nano. It is probably where you think it is, but maybe not. Hopefully you can find it as quickly as the title says. Bring a Pen(cil) and be very aware of muggle activity. If this cache gets muggled because of you, I will hunt you down and paint your face like a clown with permanant marker...

THE ONE RULE FOR THIS CACHE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! IF YOU GO THERE, THEY MAY BEAT YOU WITH A WET SKUNK OR FEED YOU TO THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS AT RENO HIGH! THE CACHE IS LOCATED IN THE PARK!!

Ok, now that you have found the cache, you have the oppportunity to find 3, yes three benchmarks located in the same park. They are as follows:

KR1215 N 39° 31.123 W 119° 49.457
KR1216 N 39° 31.100 W 119° 49.433
KR1217 Nearby, coordinates not accurate.

Ok, now fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride...
