The co ordinates above are for the water tower in Whitchurch,
Hampshire – but the cache will not be found there ! To arrive at
the cache co ordinates you need to “do your homework”!!
The life of a parent, as many of you know is never dull! – especially when you get dragged into the homework tasks that arrive home from school.
We thought it would be fun to base a cache on a couple of these “challenges” and share our evening joys with other cachers!!.
Here are two which we have received recently.
Sam’s homework - age 8
There are three lighthouses and they shine their respective lights on and off as follows
Lighthouse 1 – 3 seconds on and then 3 seconds off
Lighthouse 2 – 4 seconds on and then 4 seconds off
Lighthouse 3 – 5 seconds on and then 5 seconds off.
What cycle/period of time elapses from the second when all the lighthouse lights come on together for the first time to the second when the lighthouse lights come on altogether again? Answer = x

A bit about averages with an algebraic twist !
There are five cards, on each card is written one of the equations shown below - shown in terms of n. n is a whole
positive number.

Find the median of the five cards
Find the mean of the five cards
The mean is 3 greater than the median , find the value of n
Use this value to complete the W co ordinate W001.20.(4n-1)(2n+1)
The cache is an ammo box containing all the usual swaps and a log book. The cache can be found after a short 5 minute walk in an area of woodland. when originally placed it was a bit of a wiggle to get the cache out of its home but over time things grow and this is now not possible. I think it is unlikley this cache will ever be muggled !!
There is obvious parking close to the cache location.
