lostwoodsrambler: Sadly, this one no longer exists. The new pipeline has completely obliterated the area where it was hidden. What used to be an area of rocks, trees, and shrubs is now a slope covered with some sort of net and grass seeds. The Golf Course Series is now consists of two caches and not three.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on an abandoned golf course in Harriman State Park. You may get to the cache area using marked trails and woods roads.

This cache is one of three located on or near an abandoned golf course in Harriman. You may approach the cache on the new Parker Cabin Hollow trail (orange blaze), trailhead parking at N. 41 13.779/W. 074 10.661. To reach the cache area continue straight on a woods road when the orange blazed trail makes a sharp left at N. 41 13.459/W. 074.10.410. Remain on the woods road until you come to the grassy area of the old golf course. You may reach this cache and A View of the Greens cache using old woods roads or strike out across the old course, just beware of the water hazards and sand traps.
