#2 in the "Harry Potter and the Hunt for the Geocache"
series!
The Series: Harry Potter and the Hunt for the Geocache is
the Harry Potter book that you may have missed. This is a series of
six caches that will be placed in the upcoming weeks around the
City of Edmonton. The first four caches will be named for the four
houses of Hogwarts. The fifth cache will be released for CARW2008,
only available for those who have completed the first four caches
in the series. The sixth cache will appear later, and only to
subscribers of geocaching.com.
Hufflepuff Cache: This cache is located near the Mayfair
Golf Club, on the trail between Emily Murphy Park and Hawrelak
Park. It is nearby several other great caches, definitely worth
checking out while you are in the neighborhood. This walk in the
forest is a beautiful one, especially in the winter.
The Clue:
The key to finding Hogwarts
Is somewhere to be found
In the noble house of Hufflepuff
A lair beneath the ground
But regulations do not permit
Entombment of the treasure
In caches placed beneath the ground
At depths we cannot measure
Thus, you’ll find a yellow card,
Stashed within the mess,
Upon which has a number,
Which will confuse your GPS.
A Trained one will subtract from this,
The platform of the station,
Where Harry and his Hogwarts friends
Will catch their transportation.
Don't forget to find the clue within, in order to find the
HOGWARTS cache on March 8.

January 4 by finders-leavers (223 found) First cache of the new year. Disadvantages of winter caching: cold and dark. Advantages of winter caching: no bugs and tracks to follow. Made rookie winter caching mistake by freezing my pen, no log signature tonight.
