Geocache Description:

The point is "Its a really scenic area, Great vistas, and a nice walk". The inland side of the path/trail is private property, but the path/trail and the coastal side IS public property. At one point you will have to duck under the fence but if you stay on the path or the coastal side you will remain within the law.

This Ohana pod is 4.5" round X 9.0" long. To get to this cache go to the William R. Hearst beach, It is located directly across PCH from the entrance to Hearst Castle. There is no cost for day use, if possible park in the lower parking lot. From there its about 1.5 miles round trip, it took me less than 20 minutes to get to the cache site. I would suggest hiking to the cache area rather than kayaking, I did not see any way to get up to the bluff from the beach below. There is lots of tree cover, so make sure you get your bearings before your reception get "Delayed" by the big trees.

When placed it contained the standard items:
Log book, Pencil and Geoswag.

What's the point Bill? or should I say Mr. Hearst? The point is to get off your can and get out, this is a really cool spot. Check out the views from area, they're AWESOME!!!
