Resurrected Bill's Beach Box located in North Side Park, in a different spot from the original but closer to the parking. Space for trade items. Muggling is a problem in this park. PLEASE use STEALTH and HIDE it BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT. Thank you!
I don't know much about Bill but I did visit his Beach Box about seven months before it was archived. It wasn't necessarily an extraordinary cache but it was in a nice park with a nice view of the Assawoman Bay and it was probably one of the oldest active caches (placed in 2004) in Ocean City. I'm not sure what struck me about the cache, maybe it was the clever use of alliteration in the name or maybe it was because it was close by our vacation spot in OC. I just felt like this cache couldn't just fade away completely. Find the original cache listing here: Bill's Beach Box
So to honor Bill's Beach Box, we've placed a similar cache. We've picked a different spot about 800 feet away to reduce the chances of being flooded or muggled. The camo may make it more difficult to spot but it should be a relatively easy find. Please use stealth and replace as good or better than you found.
There should be plenty of room for trade items. Please rehide well otherwise the cache tends to go missing.
