Geocache Description:

Binary numbers are used extensively in the calculations performed by today’s computers. They are base 2, as opposed to the base 10 (decimal) numbers we typically use. This puzzle cache requires you to convert a base 2 number to a base 10 number. If you’ve never done this, don’t worry! It’s not difficult, and there are many Web sites that explain binary numbers. One is

Please visit this cache only during daylight hours.

The posted coordinates will lead you to a lawn ornament on private property (with owner’s permission). Lift the ornament straight up to access the cache container and follow the directions. If you convert the number correctly the cache door will open.

If you make a mistake the device will reset. Press START, and a new binary number will be displayed.
If you have trouble with this, ring the doorbell, and if I'm home I'd be glad to help you.

When you’re done, please close the door and cover the cache.
