This is my favorite location along the Rogue. I have spent countless days enjoying the serenity and the scenery of this place. In my opinion, it is indeed... Perfect. In a bid to introduce my caching friends this location, I was in a hurry for a waterproof container. I placed it in what I thought was a perfect spot. Wrong I was as it was eventually plundered. BDC stepped up to the plate and has replaced the container. It is a black painted Altoids can (is there anything Altoids can't do?? I think not).
Remember when parking at this viewpoint, follow the gps down the well worn trail. Use caution as the path is very tricky in a couple spots. NOTE:Children and Pets are NOT recommended. Cache is located under a large live oak limb which Is resting on a large rock. A piece of stick wedges the cache in place, and it should be used to ensure that the container doesn't fall out of it's new home. Otherwise, I am sure you will find this location Perfect. I am sure the container will be almost perfect.
