Wildcat Water Park Mystery Cache

A group of Stettin Elementary School students met in the fall of 2013 in an after school class to learn about geocaching and brainstorm creative cache ideas on the school grounds.

Beware of muggles (particularly an avid, afternoon inline skater!) as the cache is near a sidewalk. Also, this location is on school grounds, so please respect all students, staff and parents during school hours.

The after-school geocaching class at Stettin Elementary brainstormed ideas that would share an interesting location near school and challenge visitors with a unique cache. Shoot water at the front of the cache to more easily access the log canister.

Visitors to this cache should bring along a squirt bottle with 16-20 oz. of water. Those with deft fingertips may be able to access the log, but water will make logging the cache easier. During times of freezing temperatures, this cache may be a difficult one to solve. Following some storms and during the spring thaw, water may be available nearby.

After visitors have logged the cache, please unscrew the drain at the bottom of the target and let all the water drain.

The principal of Stettin Elementary has approved the placement of this cache. Please respect all students, staff and parents and the need for them to conduct their duties unhindered during school hours.
