Another in our secret trailhead series.
Joani and I drove past this trailhead a couple of times and thought it looked interesting. I stopped here today while I was 'on my way to work' and checked it out. The trails leading from the trailhead look interesting. From the online maps, it looks like they run parallel to Skyline. The cache is a large plastic biscotti jar painted camo. I approached the cache site from the trails, not from the road but it looked like people had walked through the vines in the recent past. I had to climb up on a big log to get to the cache site. I had a clear view of the sky and 7 birds, so the coords should be good. The difficulty rating is if you don't use the hint. For those that don't want that much of a challenge, use the hint. If anyone has any history of what this old relic used to be, feel free to share it and I will add it to the cache description.
