Björkekärrs kyrka är byggd år 1958 och är ritad av arkitekten Johannes Olivegren. De konstnärliga utsmyckningarna av kyrkan är gjorda av glaskonstnären Ralph Bergholtz. År 1973 tillbyggdes kyrkan med ett bifogat församlingshem. Ännu en tillbyggnad av kyrkoanläggningen gjordes av samfälligheten år 2001 i samband med att Björkekärr brutits ut ur Härlanda pastorat och bildat eget pastorat, fått egen kyrkoherde och egen administration. I takt med utvecklingen har den ursprungliga småkyrkan blivit en församlingskyrka med plats för gudstjänster, verksamheter och personal i enlighet med tidslägenas varierande behov.

Björkekärrs kyrka is built year 1958 and is designed by the Architect Johannes Olivegren. The artistic decorations of the church are made by glass artist Ralph Bergholtz. Year 1973 the church was added with a joint parish house. Another addition of the church place was made by the congregation year 2001 when Björkekärr broke out from Härlanda parish and formed an own parish, had its own vicar and own administration. With the development the original small churhc has become a congregation church with space for services, activities and staff a long with the timely different needs.
