When I was a child, my grandfather would tell me a story from time to time about a treasure of great importance. He told me that our family had been chosen long ago as the keepers of a small piece of an extraordinary secret. I asked him about the secret and he did not know it, or at least he would not tell me. He said the important thing was that we always guard and keep our part so that others may come and learn the truth.
I liked to hear the story, but my father did not like it. He would get angry when I told him about it and said that it was just the crazy imagination of a senile old man.
Many years later, after college and a gradually improving career I had the unfortunate duty of dealing with what remained of the family estate and belongings. There was an old house, furniture and many boxes. In one of those boxes I discovered an ink drawing on canvas and after all those years I remembered my grandfather's story. This was the story he told me and it had been hidden away for decades if not longer.

Each puzzle is a unique work of art created and owned by each Puzzle Master/Puzzle Team. In each cache there will be a clue that you must gather and record. These clues will lead you to a final mystery cache located somewhere in the mid-Atlantic region. This series is designed to lead you on an epic adventure that will require Master puzzle-solving skills and extensive travel to unique locations. You must travel and log in at each cache in order to claim a find on the final. Due to the extensive time and effort put into this challenge, the cache can be done as a group but each member of the group must go to each cache site and sign each log. Dividing into sub groups and pooling your efforts will not be allowed.
