Cache is located off of the Northern Delaware Greenway on a
small spur trail that leads to a rustic bench and stream overlook.
Heavy tree cover and jumpy coords, so hint is vey specific.
The closest parking is at the Blue Ball Barn section of Alapocas
Run, where there also is another DGT cache. Round trip walk will be
about 3/4 of a mile. You can hike to this from DGT Alapocas#1, but
it is about a mile one way.
From March 1 to November 30 day use park entrance fees are
charged ($3 for Delaware car, $6 for out of state) The fee is
good
for all state parks that may be visited that day--save your
receipt.
The Delaware Geotrail would like to thank Alapocas Run State
Park for participating in the trail and MikeOtt for placing this
cache. Special thanks to Park Manager Sue Staats who suggested this
location
