Spirit of Cooleemee (2/1.5)
The Spirit of Cooleemee was suppose to have been a paddle boat that roamed these waters during the "hay day" of Cooleemee in the 1900's. (River looks a little small for much of boat, maybe it was just a small ferry)
This is a nice spot to put in a small boat and paddle or fish on the South Yadkin River. Be aware there is a dam about a 1 mile down stream. The portage is on the south side of the river and is cleary marked.
The cache is a 5" round 8" long "Lock & Lock" camo'd container.
Please park near the parking spot and do not walk down the tracks.
