All the "Goodbye, TEB' caches are on playing fields or walking
paths provided by the Port Authority. Parking should be available
in at least one of the three fields on Redneck Road.
Federal Express began in 1973 with 389 employees and 14 Dassault
Falcon jets delivering 186 packages. An early slogan was, "America,
you've got a new airline." These aeronautic roots remain, notably
in the three-letter designation given to Express stations; these
identifiers correlate to any nearby airfield on FAA charts.
Why, then, will you see 'TEB' on trucks out of Maywood, NJ, and
'JSL' on the ones right across from Teterboro Airport? Simply, the
Maywood station was first, and serviced much of the top half of the
state at one time. As volume grew, so did the amount of
stations.
Now, the end of an era, for many of us, at least: TEB in Maywood is
closing, with routes going to several of the nearby stations. These
caches are a salute to on old home and a welcome to a new one.

January 18 by shortcutsrus (667 found) Another hive collapse, perhaps due to the overwhelming amount of goose poo between the lot and here? Mattie not allowed in some parks and she 'goes' once, and we do not move without a retrieval bag; geese extrude their weight in leavings every hour or so on a soccer field, and that's ok? I'd muggle a cache too under the circumstances! OK, maybe not; but isn't it time to feed these large pigeons to the homeless, or deport them to Canada? (the geese, that is...) Thanks -- rant over -- I'm good now.

December 19, 2009 by Outdoors Lady (1828 found) Interesting hiding place in a location I didn't know existed. One of the reasons that I enjoy geocaching so much--it takes me to unknown area. SL

December 10, 2009 by slukster (253 found) After leaving the "Low-flying Bees" cache, I was not sure which way to go to reach this cache. Ofcourse I chose the wrong way that I ended up cutting through a private lot and then I ended up crossing the stream twice before finding that the other way would have been much easier. I chose this cache series because I was hoping for a relatively easy caching day. Well, I ended up stepping into the stream and getting mud all over my pants. Luckily I wore my waterproof combat boots so my feet still stayed nice and dry. I always choose the hard way. I really liked this cache placement. Thanks for the cache!

December 5, 2009 by Behistun (1716 found) We parked for this one in the private lot just south of the cache on Moonachie Avenue. Not only were we technically tresspassing, but we had to cross a downed tree across a somewhat wide but shallow stream to get to GZ. Fun hide; we drove up to the public parking for the other two.
