My pups say all they want for Christmas is a new park to walk in and here it is! This cache is place in the “Future site of Weisenberg Township Recreation Area” While there are no park rules posted please follow the standard dawn to dusk rules. People are using this park to walk dogs so they are welcome. There is hunting all along the park, please wear orange and avoid these caches during prime hunting times.
This future park is located near some of the fields that we use to train our dogs in tracking. The park entrance is marked with a small sign. The entrance drive is also the access to a muggles home located just beyond the park grounds. There is a small parking area right in front of a sign that simply says “PARK” The parking area gives you a postcard few of what there is of a park here. There is a pond, a gazebo with benches and a nice dog friendly walking path complete with several walking bridges to cross the small creek the works it’s way down the middle of the park grounds. I am not sure what the long term plans are for this place but it is a nice little place as is. I hope you enjoy the walk as you explore for these caches.
