Allhelgonakyrkan invigdes på Allhelgonadagen den 3 november 1956 av biskop Bo Giertz. Kyrkan är ritad av Olov Geggen och är byggd av rödbrunt tegel. Kyrkorummet får sitt dagsljus från 12 höga, smala fönster -"apostlafönstren" på kyrkans sydsida. Vid det främsta av dessa fönster finns en träskulptur som föreställer Maria och Jesusbarnet. Den är snidad av konstnärinna Maj Stark och invigdes 1976.

2006-2007 byggdes kyrkan om och nya personalutrymmen byggdes till. I kyrkorummet togs kyrkobänkarna bort och ersattes av stolar och genom att riva körläktaren öppnades kyrkorummet upp ytterligare.

Orgeln från den nu nedlagda Vårfrukyrkan byggdes om och residerar nu på den plats där den tidigare orgelläktaren låg. Ytterligare har även de tidigare takronorna bytts ut mot Vårfrukyrkan kronor i mässing.

Personalutrymmen med plats för samtlig personal gör att Allhelgonakyrkan nu fungerar som centrum för all verksamhet och personal i Kortedala församling.

Denna kyrka har ingen kyrkogård och inte någon kyrkomur. Gå ej in på spårområdet för att logga denna geocache. Ta med dig en egen penna.

Translation of the text above. Allhelgonakyrkan was inaugurated on All Saints' Day the 3 of November 1956 by Bishop Bo Giertz. The church is designed by Olov Geggen and built of red-brown bricks. The church room gets its daylight from 12 high, narrow windows, ”apostle windows” on the church south side. By the most front one of those windows a wooden sculpture depicting Maria and the baby Jesus resides. It is carved by the artist Maj Stark and was inaugurated in 1976.

In 2006-2007 the church was rebuilt and a new staff space was added. In the church room the church benches were removed and replaced by chairs and by demolition of the choir platform the church room was opened up even more.

The staff space with now room for all the personal makes the Allhelgonakyrkan now functions as a center for all the activity and personal in Kortedala congregation.

This church has no cemetery and no church wall. Do not enter the track area to log this geocache. Bring your own pen.
