Carl is a cypress of great stature and height.
His foliage lush, his limbs strong, his bark wrapped tight.
Carl was stoic and composed like a good tree should.
He would be a model member of the grove forever, knock on wood.
But in the long days and nights of quiet contemplation,
Carl thought,“How nice it would be to take a long vacation.”
If only I could visit the Palms on the sandy shore’
Or the sweet sage and tan oak of the valley floor.
To converse with the Mojave Joshua, “I heard he’s quite a guy,”
Or to have philosophical discussion with the desert Saguaro cacti.
“Alas, my roots are deep within the earth,” Carl whispered with woe,
“I am here to diligently photosynthesize, produce oxygen, and grow.
Perched here on the oceans edge a dedicated grove member I will be,
If only there was away for adventure and excitement to come to me.
Carl devised a wily plan of genius with a dash of elegant taste,
He politely asked his faery friend Kayonna to execute with haste.
Kayonna rushed home to help her friend Carl, her mind was set.
On geocache.com she logged Carl’s cache on the Faery’s Internet.
Adventure would surely come to Carl now, he would have his wish.
And as a companion to keep Carl company, She brought him a pet fish.
Please take the time to leave the cache the way you found it because this is a high traffic zone for mini-muggles.
This is an experimental cache, I would like to hear as much and appriciate any feedback on this one as possible.I am particularly interested in the moisture inside the cache. I have a great idea for a multi-cache in this area but not sure how it will fly. The feedback on this cache will allow me to tweak it to be fun and challenging. The hint is a spoiler
