ARBOR HILLS TRAVEL BUG EXCHANGE Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kilimanjaro1: Sad to say this cache is now in geocache heaven. I did see evidence ot tampering to break the fishing line that held the cash to the tree. While in the park I check omy other cache--White Elephant and dropped a TB there.

Geocache Description:

IN THE CROOK OF A TREE. PLEASE LODGE IT IN THE CROOK TIGHTLY.

If you love Travel Bugs like I do- then this is the cache for you! A Travel Bug Exchange located in beautiful Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. As the name implies this is a Travel Bug EXCHANGE. Please leave one or more travel bugs if you take one. Please do not take a travel bug without leaving one. If you happen to find 5 or more Travel Bugs in this cache it is OK to take one without leaving one- but please never leave less than 3 Travel Bugs in this cache. It sort of defeats the purpose of a Travel Bug Exchange if there aren't any travel Bugs doesn't it? If you don't have a Travel Bug to exchange, just enjoy the nice hike and sign the log.

You could spend a whole day just looking for caches in this beautiful park. Enjoy the sounds of nature in an otherwise busy city. This cache will require some hiking on paved trails, dirt trails and a bit of off trail. It is not very close to the parking lot, so you may want to bring some water when the weather is warm. You are looking for a good sized camo Tupperware container. Tree cover varies by season and coordinates were averaged by coming at the cache from 4 directions...all were within a few feet. When you are close the location is pretty obvious.

Initial stash is a log book and pen and pencil and 3 newly launched Travel Bugs- Susan B. Anthony, Key Chains, and Huggie Bear. All three of these bugs want to be replaced so they can go and see the world. Please take them to fun and exotic places! Good Luck and Have Fun!

Congratulations to PIZZACHIP for FTF!
