Hadley Falls is located in extremely rugged terrain. This cache is
best left to experienced hikers who are used to hiking off the
beaten path. There are very steep slopes, cliffs and canyons which
must be negotiated to get the the falls. The Falls are pretty
impressive though and make trip worthwhile.
The best way to access the falls is to follow Nat'l Forest
Development Road 020 (overgrown but easy to follow) to the end,
drop down to Black Creek and follow it up to the falls. Look for an
orange Tupperware container up at the base of the highest falls.
Some scrambling on slippery terrain will be required so use
caution.
The best time of year to visit is during the summer months after
the snow has melted. Good Luck! Pictues now available; see
below!
