"One-Ryokudou" is a stroll road of about 8km.
It leads from the Machida city to Hachioji City according to the ridge line in the Tama hill.
Because a lot of people visit on holiday, I enjoy hiking, the cycling, and the stroll.
There is Yato-ike park densely covered with the corner of skirts of a mountain on immediately north side of the ridgeway in the forest.
The Yato-ike park is a quiet park where the Yato pond was enclosed.
There is a legend of "Monster Kappa" in the pond.
尾根緑道は、多摩丘陵の稜線に沿って町田市から
八王子市へ続く約８ｋｍの遊歩道です。
休日にはハイキングやサイクリングや散歩を楽しむ人が沢山訪れます。
尾根道のすぐ北側の裾野の一角に鬱蒼と樹々で覆われた谷戸池公園があります。
谷戸池公園は谷戸池を囲んだ静かな公園です。谷戸池には河童の妖怪にまつわる伝説があります。
