1st National Cache of Wyoming County Multi-Cache
MikeBurnside: I'm archiving this as has been requested because there are no trespassing signs at the parking area and on the way to the chache, despite the fact that the site is widely visited by hikers, joggers and sightseers.

Cache is placed high atop an overlook of the town of Tunkhannock, PA. Relatively short but exhiliarating walk rising 250 feet in 2/3 mile - rocky but open trail. View is more than worth the walk, especially at sunset!
Cache is usual Rubbermaid container hidden not far from a site that overlooks the beautiful town of Tunkhannock. Park at N 41 31.979 and W 75 55.139 and proceed up the obvious trail on foot, unless you happen to have a quad or very rugged 4x4. IF YOU DON'T PARK HERE, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A VERY TOUGH CLIMB! The coordinates lead to the overlook (just wanted to make sure you didn't miss it).
Stand upon a rock just behind the main stage and take a bearing of about 6 degrees. Follow it for about 140 feet. Yes, it's safe. And at that destination, there aren't many rocks, so take a look.
Cache is 5x8 Rubbermaid with the usual stuff. Make an entry in the log, take something, leave something, but most importantly, ENJOY!
We believe the cache is the first to be located in Wyoming County, PA, which is pretty amazing, given its beauty.
