Visit beautiful Fairview Lake YMCA and enjoy a fun activity filled afternoon with some Cache In Trash Out too. This event will begin at 1pm and run until 4pm. Help us pick up litter from the local area and maintain the natural beauty of our area. While picking up litter our volunteers will have a variety of camp activities, as well as some of camps own geocaches to enjoy. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun outdoors!
Join Fairview Lake YMCA Camps for our annual clean up event and learn about geocaching while helping to maintain the beauty of the local area. Geocachers can participate in a fun filled afternoon searching our beautiful property for our hidden caches. At the same time, there will be an opportunity to collect litter as you explore the area just at the base of the Appalachian Mountain Range. We will begin at 1pm and run until 4pm. Bring your own bag to collect trash, or pick one up at the sign in table. If you have your own GPS, be sure to bring it. Some GPSs will also be available to borrow with a deposit. The basics are: Location: Fairview Lake YMCA Camps 1035 Fairview Lake Rd Stillwater, NJ 07860 Date: Sunday, Nov 9th, 2014 Time: 1:00 to 4:00 PM The Schedule: 1-4pm litter sweeps 1:30pm Geocaching: How to? (meet at camp office, first building on left at entrance) 1-4pm archery 1-4pm boating 1-4pm climbing wall 1-4pm camp geocaches (available for one day only) Provided to you: Snacks, drinks, bathrooms, plastic grocery bags Please wear/have the following: -Long Pants -Long Sleeves -Closed toe Shoes We look forward to seeing you!
