Geocache Description:

The last of an eight-part series along the Boise river. Park along Eagle Road at N43 41.072, W116 21.232. The cache is in an ammo can and is one mile from the parking spot. Watch out for poison ivy and TICKS! The last part of the route to this cache is not accessible with a bicycle.

Idaho Geocachers

ATTENTION: Turn left at N43 40.996, W116 20.277, and head into the willows along the faint path that is there. That route will save you some major bushwacking. This area is currently being developed, so muggles might pose a problem. Construction must end by 7:00 each evening, and it is not allowed on Sunday.

Also, if you don't know what poison ivy looks like, look at the pictures first! You can access this cache without going through the poison ivy. If you find yourself hunting in a patch of poison ivy, you are in the wrong place.

We placed this series to build upon a cache we had previously placed in the area, Somewhere over the Rainbow. The series is named for that cache. This series is spread over a mile-long stretch of gravel path, and it makes a pleasant walk or bicycle ride along the river.

This should be the most difficult of the series. Heavy tree cover might make accurate readings hard to obtain. A small clearing is near the cache, and we were able to get about 25 feet of accuracy by standing there.
