How Geocaching Works
Located on Steaked Mountain, a short but strenuous hike to the top. allow at least a couple of hours for this one. The trail starts on Streaked Mountain RD. about a half-mile, off rt 117 between So. Paris and Buckfield. An alternate route is a gated dirt road about one tenth of a mile on the Paris side of South Whitman School Rd. There are other ways to get there but these are the most common.
This a very popular area, that is mostly ledge on top, so the cache is a bit off into the woods. Container is a clear plastic seal tight one.
