We checked the cache after crossing the mighty Amargosa River. Then we headed east to intersect the narrow-gauge track bed from the mine that provided the material to be transported by the T & T RR. The cache container is still intact, but we will be replacing it soon.

I came down from Idaho to do some 'caching with MagWheel and Slomo, and to get away from Idaho's winter chill. Found about 67 'caches from November 22 to December 2. We geocached from Valley of Fire, to Tecopa, to Death Valley, and north up around Beatty. Many of the 'caches were pretty good climbs for my old body, and there were many hidden in some unique places. It was an enjoyable time. For the micro 'caches, I signed the log, and for the bigger 'caches I took nothing and left nothing, and signed the log. Thanks from ScatStomper.,

It was cool today and a little breezy but way warmer than in Idaho. We enjoyed the hike and looking at the old RR grades. TFTC TNLN SL
