Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night (nor hurricane) stays this cacher from the swift completion of his appointed rounds. I refuse to allow some crummy hurricane to deter me from placing caches. I didn't yesterday, and I didn't today. I want to continue my daily hiding streak, because other cachers depend upon me to keep alive their daily finding streaks. At least a couple of cachers have logged that it was my caches that kept their streaks alive. So, while other people were hiding under their beds from Hurricane Sandy, I went out and placed this cache. It was an interesting drive, with my car being blown all over the road, and detouring around downed trees, flooded streets and other hazards. I persevered and made it to GZ, placed the cache, and returned home. I'm proud to risk my life for my fellow cachers. "Greater love than this no man hath, than that he lay down his life for his fellow cachers". (I think that the shovel I'll bring to November 10th's CITO event will have more than a whiff of manure on it). This cache is located in Lower Moreland Park. It is not inside the fenced-in area. The cache contains a log only, that's all that will fit. BYOP and an extraction tool. No credit without your signature, and no night caching. Park in the lot. Please replace it as I left it. There is a good view of the pond and its waterfowl here. You may wish to bring your camera.
